Well it has happened!! Just 1 day shy of 12 years & the Susan Boyle audition video has reached 250,000,000 views!! That is a 1/4 Billion!!!
Working out the approximate numbers that is 4379 days with 5707 per day!! Which is approx 240 per hour or 4 every minute FOR 12 YEARS!!!
Even more amazing is there are numerous other videos showing the same audition & they are NOT in the count!!! Also not in the count are the thousands of newspaper & magazine articles that carried the video link too which are NOT in the count!! It is therefore conceivable that the true views number can be a billion or even more!

Numerous comments that run the gamut from great to horrible. As for me, I have NEVER in my life been so mesmerized by a performance as with that audition. To say I have seen it hundreds of times is no exaggeration. I have been in different Susan Boyle forums with thousands who felt the same as I do. As for her singing I have seen numerous reviews from singing coaches to just ordinary people. Many say her pitch is perfect and her voice is pure and crystal clear. I have heard her sing covers that are excellent & some not so good. But that is just personal choice for everybody who judges her songs. I believe her I dreamed a Dream is right up there with other great singers. I believe her Cry Me a River 1999 recording is the BEST of any singer, even Julie London's version. Her cover of Mad World is excellent as is Enjoy the Silence, but I understand why Depeche Mode & Tears for Fear fans scoff at her versions. And my 5th favorite is her live recording with orchestra of You Have To Be There. To this day I get goosebumps to many of her songs.

wow- some of you guys are still here! I was AWOL for a lot of 2021 as I fell and had severe back issues ( STILL DO!) anyway, amazed it was 13 yrs ago but not really-- in many ways it is not THAT long, really! Anyone heard from Trennie? someone asked about her on my Facebook Page today! thanks!! XXX

OH WOW!!!!! So happy you made it back onto the forum. I had just about given up on you. WELCOME BACK!!!!!! Trennie is rarely here as are many others. Sometimes she is on twitter. Unfortunately it looks like Susan's career is over
