| Dyebat and lChris have put up a new entry on their blog pointing up an important issue which needs to be attended to now as SBFII is rewording/reworking its bylaws and mission statement. As a nonprofit entity they need to fall under specific guidelines and so their bylaws need to reflect that in fact, yes, the organization is doing just that. Otherwise there is the very real risk of losing that status. There is an issue of some wording which needs to be addressed and adjusted; if it is overlooked, at some point down the road it could jeopardize the group's standing as a nonprofit organization. This is different from the issue of becoming a tax-exempt organization, which is another situation. http://sbfandomourstory.blogspot.com/2011/05/by-law-revision.html |

| I think it is extremely important for members of SBFII to be aware that there is something serious at stake here.....the loss of that nonprofit status. |

Like they care! As long as they can pray for each other endlessly, as long as they get their daily 'tribute videos', as long as they can read stories of trips to Susan's house, blah blah blah, then they're happy as pigs in shit. Little details like the legal status of the site doesn't worry them. Most of them are far too stoopid to understand it all anyway! |

What makes you think that Pickle and her gang even want to have an NPO own that site? It would be so much easier for them to simply forget that little change in the wording and "accidentally" miss out on gaining nonprofit status. They can then blame it all on dyebat and Chris and dance off into the sunset with susan-boyle.com still in their hands, no pesky state and Federal laws to follow and (perhaps) the debts incurred by the NPO conveniently forgotten. Sounds like an ideal situation for the Pickle and Special K. |

Sounds like an ideal situation for the Pickle and Special K. Since Dyebat and lChris have made a new blog entry about this issue and in it they specifically state that they have contacted the appropriate people at SBFII regarding this, it would be pretty foolish of anyone to try and skip over this critical step in the process of revising their bylaws. At this point, since Dyebat and Chris have alerted not just the board and administration of SBFII but rank-and-file members, it would be pretty hard to get away with an "accidental" omission of this important change in the wording. Members would see that for what it was intended to be: another attempt to deceive. |
