By my count, and it is NOT official, I have at LEAST 9 out of the 20 in the prayer buddy group---ALMOST HALF!!! That plus 2 mods and 2 board members makes this a despicably controlled event by SBFII---REMEMBER, Grits is now part of the powers that be there! They should be ashamed---but that is not in the realm of possibility for them!

I don't know. I was looking at EW last night and there was that map on the wall indicating what states. I just checked and Loyalsusfan comes from Indiana - It seems from her post that she was there. Also UDRMDADRM - who comes from Pennsylvania. I so far have no one from Arkansas. I checked Chereekomom and there is no indication from her posts that she was there, but if xeno says she was, she probably was. If she was not, with loyalsusafan and UDRMDADRM and Angel's husband, that would be 20. But I have to find someone llving in Arkansas.

Susan signed a shawl for UDRMDADRM, so she must have been there. That would be 21. That shocks me that they would be asked to bring 20 and would bring 21. I would never ask to add an extra to a functin like that.

Ashamed?! Unlikely. Outraged probably that we're discussing this openly when they've been banned from doing so at their own alleged fansite. They're probably choking on their caviar with rage!

That is my count as well, the ones that we know only. And don't forget that Lisa Pully and RIK declined and they were on the prayer thread. It fits in with Grits' post that she had 8 people in her room. That means that 8 of the 9 were in her room including her and maybe she was not including herself and it was 9.

I wish I could find out who is from Arkansas, but I have states after every name and I can't find anyone from Arkansas. I can't imagine if cherokeesmom was there that she would nnot have said anything in her posts about it.

I should have checked cherokeehippie but she is not on EW. She must come from Tommy's site. I just saw the cherokee and jumped the gun I guess. Maybe she comes from Arkansas. Does anyone have a link to Tommy's site and can check if she says anything about it?

I think Angel's husband might be counted. They talked a bit of them on the website, how touching it was that they danced while they were playing Susan's songs, etc.

I figured as much there would be husbands there. Now that's it's all over, I wonder if anyone is feeling guilty? I didn't know people could be that desperate. Like Black Friday at Walmart. They would stampede on you to get to Susan first.

I thought I had apologized for including Wasforgas. In my haste to delete, I must have deleted that. So, I do apologize to wasforgas for the error. I had used unconfirmed reports. As I had stated in the blog that I apologized, I felt it was important to add this. It would be nice if I received an apology for being accused as the vicious poster on OS from a few months ago. What that poster wrote WAS truly despicable! I am not a crazy. I have been crystal clear for months about my complaints regarding SBFII. One time I made a huge mistake at SBFII, for which I HAD apologized in a thread there. In my defense, I was baited into that response, but I still should not have responded the way I did.

It's too beneath them to apologize. To them you will always be the bad guy no matter how harmless you are. We are the bad guys and we get blamed for everything.

Yeah, buying more tickets than they can use and now others who might have been able to go see Susan won't get to. It is a shame some people only think of themselves and it is always about them. How inconsiderate can they get.

Yes, this was a planned out event, not the whole 24hrs to gather fans. that Grits accepted donations for trips? that's what I heard. Instead of donations for a trip for someone else, they should have paid Treedeen off.

These 'repeat' fans (I'm not talking about the new ones who went) seem to think that Susan is grateful to them specifically, not just fans in general and this gives them permission to go and to act pretty much as they will. Even the message that Susan wanted to meet new fans did not alter their attitude that they had a right to be there! Their need to see Susan, to have her gratitude and to have her acknowledge them is so strong, it over rides the perception that their behaviour may be extreme.

Everyone is motivated to act a certain way for a reason and in their case it’s to get the attention of the object of her obsession. Sadly they keep getting that reinforcement from Susan and her team. They aren’t going to tell them not to come. They are going to thank them because they have to be polite to fans and Susan is grateful to her fans - a pity some fans think it's just them specifically.

Maybe they thought they should appoint themselves to introduce new fans to Susan and if so, it indicates they truly believe themselves to be superior and very important in Susafandom. But those who met Susan for the first time could have managed without them - they are adults and do not need to have their hands held by seasoned Susan M&G regulars!

Note how Randma not only covered Susan’s bra up but proceeded to tweak her cardigan to her own satisfaction and so that Susan knew that it was she that was helping her? It was as if she was dressing a child! How dare she ? How bloody patronising! – she should have suggested it to Joanne or simply whispered to her, her bra was showing. If she came up to me and did that I’d be very offended that she invaded my personal space and that she didn’t simply tell me! But she wouldn’t do it to just anyone - she has to do it so she got Susan’s attention and gratitude. This says a lot about her attitude and reasoning – she believes herself to be a fan valued over most others and believes she has the level of personal intimacy that makes her think she’s allowed to fix her clothes up for her.

As for the tower of fecken quilt cushions Susan had to take home with her - beyond belief. I believe there are lots of homeless and poor people in Texas and the US who would love a quilt and a pillow if she's throwing them around! Evil or Very Mad

Lovely to see the new fans meet Susan and Susan's kind and individual attention to them - what a PITY there weren't more such fans there - we are all sure there would have been plenty who would have gone if asked!

We have been Susan fans for over two years now - not that long really so it is great that the true colours of these people have been revealed. We now know who they are, what they do and how they think. In future events we will see exactly what they do.
