Any Way To Treat A Guest??

Ever since my alter-ego, tomfinn, was discovered, I have been forced to visit SBFII as a guest visitor. What has been happening though is that so many threads that start off as public, are made private after a while. This happened today with the clues for the 4th CD thread. I guess opinions became critical so they had to hide the thread. Gee, what a surprise! The joke is that the thread was the type that SHOULD be in the public domain. No way to treat guests, but I am one who is certainly not surprised!

They reached 0.0000000000000000005 on the dissension meter. Just enough to take it private!

Gotta keep it squeaky clean and sanitized----for all those times Susan visits the forum!------

I am posting here because the thread about hints for the 4th CD is public now. Honestly, I am getting fed up with the defenders who claim that by attacking and complaining about Susan's PR we are, in essence, attacking Susan or her team. NOTHING is further from the truth. It is done out of love and respect for Susan. We, the complainers, want the very best for Susan, and feel that the PR has been deficient for a long time now.

The defenders have their own agenda. To them I say, we, the fans, are acting as true fans would.

Guess what?? The thread that was public, then went private, then went public, has now gone private again! This after I wrote the above posting. Mods------you've got some splainin' to do! Just ask Lucy.

Fudgie,----you know it's not permitted to speak your truth over there. They don't want the truth,---they only want nicey-nice. To be honest and forthright is disrespectful to Susan if it is in any way negative. I hear some still believe she visits the site-----just as she writes those messages in the OS. At EW, the moon is made of blue cheese----and all the world is sunshine and lollipops!!

No, it aint a FORUM - it's a CLUB and the few members there want things nice and comfy. When someone says something the regulars don't like, they usher them out the door and shut it!

I just love when the "Whom Lady" weighs in over there, don't y'all??? Cracks me up!!!

In all seriousness, my main problem with this guessing game and reveal at the Official Site is that SB fans, many of whom are in their middle and senior years, were treated as little kids.

There is an inference being made that members of THIS site left mean messages at the OS. This is absolutely NOT TRUE!!! I wish I had copied them. There is still this need by some to demonize this forum. Look inside yourselves!!

From what I understand, many of us here at DJG's don't even go to the OS because there's never anything of interest there. I don't even have the link to it, myself. So I have to wonder who all these accused folks "from another forum" are who made the negative comments there. We seem to be the convenient scapegoats for everything bad that happens anywhere,----so I'm assuming they were referring to us.

There were about 5 people. 2 from this forum, one from another forum, and one from their OWN forum. And I reiterate, none of the comments were anti-Susan AT ALL!!

They don't get it that we are NOT anti-Susan. We love Susan as much as they do but we are realistic about life.

I'm convinced they feel they have to keep everything cheery and light over there because they truly believe Susan and her team visit the site regularly. It's of the utmost importance to present this up-beat image in order to continue to ingratiate themselves with Susan's people ---to gain access to Susan, of course.

That is it!! How are those 2 comments anti-Susan??? In fact, I have it on good authority that two of the most revered members at SBFII just posted that they do not want to be treated as children!!!! How is that ANY different from my post?? Yet, their posts stay up and they are beloved. Just what I have always said, different rules for different people. What hypocrisy!1

Sure seemed pretty mild, to me. I didn't see anywhere where you were calling anyone incompetent or demanding that anyone resign. Your complaints were similar to all the others, seems to me,----and far less critical than some. I love your avatar, though,----Mr. PITA!!----------------

I wish I'd thought, too, to snag all of the comments, including my own, before they were whisked away. Mine was certainly not hysterical or whining, nor was it in any way negative towards Susan herself. I simply stated that the games-playing and such was unacceptable, that I felt as though fans were being jerked around (don't recall now if I actually used that phrase or if I said something slightly different). I then inquired if it were smart to antagonize the very people that they are expecting will be purchasing this album.

So, let me get this straight. Rule #1 now includes Susan, her family, her PAs, her record company, her PR team, her website/social marketing firm, her dress designer, her neighbors, her hairstylist, etc etc. Is the milkman included??
