| Today I see tweets that Susan looked unhappy on a train. So, of course, someone on one of the forums HAS to tweet that tweeter to find out who was with Susan and any other info. Then we see another person giving out all sorts of personal and travel info about her and her town and who she is meeting with.
Susan has given out a number of hints in the past few weeks that she wants to be left alone when she is home at Blackburn. I am one who thinks that wish SHOULD be honored.
Do fans REALLY believe this is right OR important in their never ending quest about all things regarding Susan?? I can understand if it involves business or her music or performing in any way. BUT, her personal travels and life???? COME ON!! |

| It's fine to 20 question a Twitter who see's Susan on the street. You just can't talk about Susan on a Forum. |

Yes. The things that should not be posted on that forum are. And the things like discussions about her performance are not allowed. |

| Yup. Pumping tweeters for more info to feed the hungry forum leeches about Susan's private life is A-OK in la-la land. Those who try to express honest, intelligent and well-founded concern about her professional situation are squashed like bugs. Access to Susa info - better yet, access to Susan personally - no matter how intrusive, trumps all. |

| Susan has a right to privacy and as fans we do not have a right to know everything. I do not Tweet. I find this tweeting intrusive into Susan's life. I am a fan who does not need to know everything and every move she makes.... |

| Amazing how many SBFII members "JUST HAPPEN" to run into Susan Boyle around Blackburn. It happened on the UK tour. It happens in town. BB is now blessed with volunteers for local events. The "a little birdie told me" expert is ALWAYS on hand. It happens at the Balbairdie. Plans are under way to "Bump" into her on the road for the USA tour. G*d only knows how many M&Gs will be planned and the pressure that will be put on Susan to attend them for the US tour. The US tour will be especially stressful with the amount of travel. It is not like driving around Scotland or the UK. But to the obsessed it will not matter. Must get the 1 minute meeting with her, even if you have seen her dozens of times. I think she should come out with a perfume--Boyle's Obsession. |

Don't forget the arrival at Susan's home on her birthday.... uninvited and intrusive. THAT says a lot. |

| Well, the explanation for them being at the VIP section is because they volunteered for the GALA and then invited to sit there. Has this so helpful group of women been as active volunteering in their own communities? I have never understood why people have to horn in on Susan and her community. Isn't her interviews, concerts and cd's enough??? It is for me and I really think a lot of Susan. |

I tend to agree. I would love to see a thread about volunteer work on SBFII of things other than related to Miss Susan Boyle Blackburn is not exactly WATTS, California or South Central L.A. or the Chicago East Side- those places really need help. i said something like this at SBFII last night, and was immediately deleted. SBFII did give over $500 to BB Gala day, at Miss Boyle's request since charity money was raised for her birthday. I thought that was a great thing!!! It is none of my business, of course, but since this thread was started and I know no one will delete my thoughts, I am replying. I know this is the Guest Forum and dedicated fans can read it, who are not members here. I normally do not post on the Guest Forum regarding to petty things of one forum against another. But since I was deleted just for NO reason last night on SBFII, I am doing so. It does not feel good to have well meaning thoughts just wiped away in a nano second. This forum has become kinder and gentler and there are some very intelligent dual members of three or four other Susan Forums here now. The one cool thing is that I will NOT be deleted for making a calm, measured remark as I was on SBFII last night. I was deleted in 30 seconds or less So much for Vanilla. A lot of people do not just like Vanilla as a sole flavor. Oh, and for those curious as to why I had been deleted-- I merely made a remark about how Miss Boyle might get some flack from her local neighbors, for outsiders having the prime VIP seats ahead of them. A small town can be petty, and I would not want Miss Boyle to be harassed by her neighbors with words like, "OH, your fans were here and we would have liked to sit up front"- that was the essence of what I was concerned about. I could care less about things other than Miss Boyle's well being, and I am sure I have made that perfectly clear in five or more years now. But my remark was deleted. WHY? And by the way, over 25-30 people on this forum are also going to the concerts in the next few months-- that is around 25% of the membersThat is a good thing! I hope as many fans as Miss Boyle has around the whole world that thousands can see her in person in the USA and I am thrilled that so many newbees are able to go this time!

That was a long time ago with other people in charge. I have a right to say what I want at other places. And if not? oh well. It is hard to be a fan of Miss Boyle these days when one cares about her the most. I am a fan of her artistry-- not of her fans. I have made that clear for many years. I am friends with MANY dozens of her fans, and everyone knows it I care about her well being the most. I am sure that is clear in my post above here. If not, I will look at it again. but I think it is clear. |

Teri, I also very rarely make a comment on this thread, but this subject is important enough for me to want to have my "say." Like you, I knew I would just be wasting my time commenting on the other forum. |

| Terijay, I completed agree with you. And am sorry you were deleted on EW. And I agree with others on the volunteer issue. Doing things like showing up at BB to be seen is not anything that enriches Susan's life. Those activities really are not about Susan or a true caring about BB, but about the fans sense of self-importance. I think giving money, at Susan's request, is appropriate, the rest NOT. But saying anything like that on EW is not adhering to the "party line". I think the arbitrary nature of deleting posts is one reason so many members have left EW. And since members apparently can never, at their request, have their names deleted the membership numbers are really skewed. |
